Thirst
After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), "I thirst."
John 19:28 ESV

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Jesus was emptied on the cross so that we could be filled with His goodness. We have to trust in Him for spiritual blessings.
The Source of all sustenance gave up everything for us. He who was rich beyond all splendour, all for love's sake, became so poor. So we, through His poverty, might become rich.
Even in His dehydration, Jesus did everything to fulfil Scripture ultimately. We can read the old testament and see Christ promised throughout. What we see in shadow form in the old testament, we see in glorious technicolour in the new testament.
If we want to have our spiritual thirst quenched, we need to look to Jesus. He gave up everything so that we, in Him, can have all we need spiritually. Jesus is enough.
'Our Heavenly Father, thank You that in Christ we have all we need. We're grateful for all He went through for us and ask that we would take hold of all that He has achieved for us, in His name we pray, amen'
