Rebellion
Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them."

Joshua and Caleb were 'blue sky thinkers'. They looked for the silver lining to each dark cloud. Sadly, the rest of the Israelites weren't so positive.
The Israelites were 'red light people'. They wanted to stop and go back, they thought they'd never make it to the promised land. When God promises however, it's a guarantee. We just need to trust.
So Joshua and Caleb tried to urge the people not to rebel against the Lord. It wasn't ultimately Moses they were rebelling against, but God Himself. It doesn't end well for those who rebel against Him.
Joshua and Caleb knew that with the Lord on their side, they didn't need to fear the enemy. God alone is a majority. When we're with Him, ultimate victory is assured.
'God, forbid that we should rebel against You. May we trust You and Your word to be fulfilled in our lives, in Jesus' name, amen'
