Inexcusable
For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 ESV
Whether people acknowledge Him or not, deep down, everyone knows there's a God. As Solomon put it, God has 'set eternity in our hearts'. Deep down, we know this life isn't all there is.
The idea that the beauty of creation is a freak accident is more farfetched than the fact it reflects its Creator. The vastness of the universe is a pale reflection of God's infinite nature. A majestic landscape can take our breath away, but it's an echo of God's glory.
There's no excuse. Even if we never hear the gospel of salvation in Christ, we should seek after God. We will seek Him and find Him when we seek Him with all our hearts.
'LORD God, may we wholeheartedly seek after You. Please reveal Yourself to us, in the name of Christ we pray, amen'
