Judge

 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
Psalm 82:8 ESV

We don't naturally like the idea that we're going to be judged. The thought of being held accountable is scary. Yet if we know God's forgiveness through Jesus, we don't need to fear God's judgment.

If we're at peace with God through Jesus, we don't need to be afraid of God's judgment. We can actually look forward to it, albeit not in a sadistic way. We can look forward to our vindication and the comeuppance of our haters.

God will inherit all the nations. When worldly empires seek to inherit all the nations, that's just greedy: whether it's Roman, British or Russian empires. God is sovereign over all nations however.

Whatever nation we're from, we're all made in God's image and likeness. He is our Master and Maker and we owe Him everything. One day the kingdoms of this world will all get swallowed up by the Kingdom of God.

'Our Master and Maker, please help us to make our peace with You before it's too late. In Christ's name we pray, amen'

Power

Even just earlier in this chapter, Jesus fed 5,000 men, plus women and children miraculously. But when He started making statements like this verse, He understandably became less popular. Basically, Jesus was asking those who would follow Him to go on 'death row'. Following Jesus in 1st Century Roman Palestine wasn't about pressing a button on social media.
