Work

 “What do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’

This first son refused to work for his dad. The second son agreed to work for his dad. The first son ended up working for his dad; the second son didn't.

The moral of the story is that God is more interested in deeds than words. Religious people might say the right kind of things, but they don't necessarily do what God asks of them. Irreligious people might think they haven't got time for God, yet when many of them meet Jesus, they start following Him.

Jesus was a friend of sinners. The likes of traitorous tax collectors and immoral prostitutes loved Him. They might never have naturally said they'd work for God, yet they followed His Son Jesus.

The religious leaders of Jesus's day were His enemies. They were jealous of His popularity and authority, and conspired and clamoured for His crucifixion. They claimed to serve God, yet when He turned up, they killed Him.

'Dear Lord, help us to love and serve You not in word only, but in deed. May we gladly live for You all our days, until You call us home, for Your glory, amen'

Power

 But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.Exodus 9:16 ESVhttps://bible.com/bible/59/exo.9.16.ESV  Secular historians point to the lack of extra-biblical evidence of Hebrew slavery in Egypt and ensuing exodus. Helper

  Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. Psalm 54:4 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/psa.54.4.ESV Being a helper is a humble role. Humanly speaking, we want to be the main act, not the side show. Yet, even though God is the director of life, He isn't afraid to step on stage to help us out. We might assume that the helper is subordinate to the helped. After all, if someone is deemed worthy of help, they must be important, right? Jesus came not to be served but to serve however. To be helped doesn't require us to do anything. To help is greater than to be helped. Better to actively contribute to someone rather than to simply passively benefit from someone's assistance.
