Salvation

 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

What are the saved going to say once we're saved forevermore? That we did pretty good? That God ought to be pleased with us?

Not at all! Our testimony has always been that salvation is of the Lord. We have no part to play in our own salvation except to be saved.

Salvation is of God. Yet He doesn't brush our sins under the carpet and pretend like they don't matter. He puts our sins on His Son, the sacrificial Lamb of God.

We need to behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. By His death on our behalf, we can be forgiven. By His resurrection we can live forevermore.

'Lord our God, how we praise You for our salvation. Thank You for the Lamb, and please help us to trust in Him, in His name, amen'

Power

Helper

Humanly speaking, we want to be the main act, not the side show. Yet, even though God is the director of life, He isn't afraid to step on stage to help us out. We might assume that the helper is subordinate to the helped. After all, if someone is deemed worthy of help, they must be important, right? Jesus came not to be served but to serve however.
