Infinite

 For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

This world might often seem chaotic. Yet the King of love is on the throne of the highest heaven. Anything good we enjoy is ultimately from Him.

The world seems chaotic, yet the universe is a pretty ordered place. It wasn't thrown together by nothing exploding in a big bang. It was spoken into being by its Almighty Creator.

God's faithfulness extends to the clouds. It's not just that He provides our food. He provides the rain to help grow the food we enjoy.

God doesn't leave us to our own devices. He cares for us and hasn't given up on us. We need to seek His love and faithfulness eternally, through the Lord Jesus Christ.

'Heavenly Lord, please help us to be mindful of the ultimate expression of Your love and faithfulness, the crucifixion of Christ Jesus. May we trust in You for our salvation, in His name, amen'

Power

Rejoice!

It's yet another thing to rejoice in God in the midst of famine. Habakkuk's faith wasn't circumstantial. He trusted in the Sovereign Lord even when everything seemed bleak. His country was plagued by injustice. An even more unjust country was going to ravage them. Now, it seems that famine had descended. When the world offers nothing to rejoice in, God does, because He is literally out of this world.
