Walk
For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness.
Psalm 26:3 ESV

David didn't see his Descendant Jesus with eyes of flesh. Yet with eyes of faith, he looked forward to His advent. David knew his Son's love would be put on display.
It's much easier for us to see Christ's love than it was for David. We can look back to His crucifixion on our behalf. It might still be through eyes of faith, but we can more clearly see the fulfilment of God's love for us in the Son of David.
We walk in God's faithfulness, not ultimately in our own strength. The Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. God is like a divine pace setter who keeps us going until He calls us home.
When we are faithless, God remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. Even our faith is a gift from Him. So there's no room for boasting.
'Dear God, thank You so much for Your love and faithfulness towards us in Christ our Lord. May we always be mindful of You, in Jesus' name, amen'
