Appointment
And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

Christianity was born out of Judaism. Yet Christ isn't only the Jewish Messiah. He's the Saviour of the world.
This truth is cause for great rejoicing for Gentiles like me. The good news isn't exclusive to Jesus's ethnic group. Instead it is for all who are appointed for eternal life; who believe in Christ.
The word of the Lord isn't just the Jewish Scriptures (the Old Testament). It's also the New Testament: mostly scribed by Jews, but full of hope for Gentiles too.
Salvation isn't primarily dependant upon us believing, although of course that is part of the picture. We ultimately get saved if we're appointed by God for salvation. We believe only because God first chose us.
'O Lord our God, we're grateful that Gentiles like us can be appointed, believe, and be gathered into Your eternal Kingdom. In Christ's name we pray, amen'
