Peace

 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),

Jesus ministered in Roman Palestine, a pretty small geographic area. Yet His impact is global. He might have been sent only to the lost sheep of Israel, but He sent His followers out to the world.

Jesus isn't simply the Jewish Messiah; He's the Saviour of the world. He came to save His people from their sins. His people are from any ethnic group who would put their faith in Him.

Christ came to bring peace on earth to those on whom God's favour rests. God's favour doesn't just rest on Jewish believers, but Gentiles too. The division in humanity isn't ethnic but spiritual- depending on what we make of Christ.

Christ is Lord of all. Whether we acknowledge Him now or not, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Best to worship Him now, before it's too late to make our peace with Him.

'Father in heaven, may we make our peace with You before it's too late. Thank You that in Christ it is possible, in whose name we pray, amen'

Fight

  You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.' Deuteronomy 3:22 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/deu.3.22.ESV Apparently the Bible says not to fear about enough times for once a day throughout the year. Here is one such occasion. We might assume it doesn't apply to us in the new covenant, but if so we'd be wrong. All Scripture is God breathed and is useful. The God who fought for ancient Israel fights for us His new covenant people today. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the devil and his demonic forces. So we don't need to be afraid. The God who fought for breath upon that old rugged cross was fighting for you and I. He rose again on the third day in defeat of death for us. Power

 But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.Exodus 9:16 ESVhttps://bible.com/bible/59/exo.9.16.ESV  Secular historians point to the lack of extra-biblical evidence of Hebrew slavery in Egypt and ensuing exodus. But here in this verse, God describes how this anonymous Pharoah has been immortalised in the annals of the Hebrews, so that God is proclaimed in all the earth. The mighty men of the world might think they can stand against God and win, but resistance is futile!  The more stubborn Pharoah was, the more the Lord was able to display His power. The more insistent Pharoah was of keeping his slaves, the more unreasonable he appeared.
