Magnify

Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
Psalm 34:3 ESV

Magnifying the Lord isn't about making Him any greater than He already is, like using a magnifying glass. Magnifying the Lord is more like using a telescope to see some celestial being more clearly. God is awesome, and it's good to meditate upon that fact.

Magnifying the Lord isn't some solo pursuit. It's like a star gazer wanting to share the beauty and majesty of their discoveries with the world. If we know how great God is, we want to amplify our message to the world.

God is exalted, enthroned upon the praises of His people. We're not content to simply have a personal worship session. We want a massive stadium style celebration of our Lord and Saviour.

We don't just want to celebrate God communally. We want the community of faith to grow numerically as well as in depth all the more. So we call others to exalt the Lord with us.

'Sovereign God, may we call others to trust You, for You are worthy of our exaltation. Through Christ our Saviour we pray, amen'
