Wisdom

 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

When will we understand the fear of the Lord? When will we find the knowledge of God? When we seek after wisdom.

Seeking after wisdom isn't just seeking intellectual knowledge. It's about knowing how to apply what we know to best effect. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The fool says in his heart, 'there is no God'. We do well to fear the One who can cast soul and body into hell. When we get to know Him, we get to know His saving love which casts out fear.

Fear of God might be the beginning of wisdom, but the love of God is the eternal end of wisdom. It's not enough to have a doctorate in Divinity. We need to know God personally as our loving heavenly Father.

'Loving Father God, please help us to fear You as we ought. May we know You as the gracious Lord You are to all who cry out to You, in Christ's name, amen'

Power

 But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.Exodus 9:16 ESVhttps://bible.com/bible/59/exo.9.16.ESV  Secular historians point to the lack of extra-biblical evidence of Hebrew slavery in Egypt and ensuing exodus. The mighty men of the world might think they can stand against God and win, but resistance is futile!  The more stubborn Pharoah was, the more the Lord was able to display His power. Opposition

  Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. 2 Timothy 3:8 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/2ti.3.8.ESV Jannes and Jambres are the names of the Egyptian magicians who tried to persuade Pharoah not to let God's people go. It wasn't hard for them to encourage him. They might have been able to replicate some of Moses' miracles, but miracles alone are not necessarily signs of divine approval. The devil has power to work deceptive miraculous signs that point people away from God instead of towards Him. Sadly, some charlatan, counterfeit 'Christians' claim to perform miracles (that tend to be fake). Truth is that faith in God is the real miracle for sinners like us.
